Emil Nolde is deeply characterized by his home in the German border area. Dramatic landscapes, exciting marine paintings and bright flower paintings became his trademark. The artist widens his view through trips, for example to Italy, England, France, Scandinavia, Spain and Switzerland. The famous South Sea trip takes the married couple of Nolde over Moscow, Siberia, Korea, Japan and China to the German protected areas of German new Guinea. 1935 in Öhringen geboren. Mit 14 Jahren Eintritt als erster Mitarbeiter und Lehrling in das von seinem Vater Adolf Würth 1945 gegründete Unternehmen, eine Großhandelsfirma für Schrauben und Muttern, die heutige Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG. 1954 Übernahme des Familienbetriebs im Alter von nur 19 Jahren nach dem frühen Tod des Vaters. Abschluss des ersten Geschäftsjahrs unter seiner Leitung mit einem Jahresumsatz von rund 80 000 Euro. »Ich wollte schon immer wissen, was hinterm Berg und ums Eck ist« das Zitat von Prof. Dr. h. c. mult. Reinhold Würth, Vorsitzender des Stiftungsaufsichtsrats der Würth-Gruppe, beschreibt seine Neugierde und sein visionäres Denken, die dazu beitrugen, die Unternehmensgruppe zum Weltmarktführer in der Entwicklung, der Herstellung und dem Vertrieb von Montage- und Befestigungsmaterial zu machen.
