Dr. Irina Podtergera studierte Slavistik mit Schwerpunkt Russisch und Polnisch sowie Latein an der Fernöstlichen Staatlichen Universität in Vladivostok (Russland) und wurde an der Universität St. Petersburg promoviert. Derzeit unterrichtet sie Latein an der Universität Bonn und ist Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Slavischen Seminar der Universität Freiburg.
