Lloyd E. Ambrosius is Emeritus Professor of History and Samuel Clark Waugh Distinguished Professor of International Relations at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, which honored him with the Louise Pound-George Howard Distinguished Career Award in 2015. He is the author of Woodrow Wilson and the American Diplomatic Tradition: The Treaty Fight in Perspective (Cambridge, 1987), Wilsonian Statecraft: Theory and Practice of Liberal Internationalism during World War I (1991), and Wilsonianism: Woodrow Wilson and his Legacy in American Foreign Relations (2002).
