The late May Mayko Ebihara was Professor Emerita of Anthropology at Lehman College Carol A. Mortland teaches anthropolgy at Dowling College, Oakdale, NY. She has directed local refugee programs and served as director of refugee services for a national voluntary agency. Judy Ledgerwood is Professor of Anthropology and Director of the Center for Southeast Asian Studies at Northern Illinois University. She is a contributor to Anthropology and Community in Cambodia, a collection of essays in honor of May Ebihara. Her most recent book is At the Edge of the Forest, published by Southeast Asia Program Publications.
