Charles Sanders Peirce (18391914), American Scientist, Mathematician, and Logician, developed much of the logic widely used today. Using copies of his unpublished manuscripts, this book provides a comprehensive collection of Peirce's writings on Phaneroscopy and the outlines of his project to develop a Science of Reasoning. Elize Bisanz holds a PhD in Communication Sciences from the Technical University of Berlin. She is an advisory board member of the German Association of Semiotic Studies as well as a permanent research member of the Institute for Studies in Pragmaticism at Texas Tech University.
