Warum feiern wir Weihnachten, Papa?
Don't ask so many questions! That's the way many adults react when their children pester them with questions they are not prepared to answer: Where does God live?, What happens when you die?, Why are there earthquakes? With an uncanny ability, children search out those questions that we ourselves have not yet solved. The major questions of life and belief are laid out, usually casually while shopping, at the playground, in the bathtub or before going to sleep. We gasp for breath. But herein lies a great chance for us. Our children's questions enable us to rethink such matters and to view them once again through the eyes of children. We quickly learn what is important and what is not. We should refrain from giving our children a quick answer simply to shut them up. Rather, we should use such questions to begin a new quest to discover our own beliefs. One thing should be clear, however: Before God we have no advantage over our children.

Children love to ask impossible questions: "Who made God?", "Where does God live?", "What's it like when you die?", "Why does God make earthquakes?"
